I don't not want to reveal my location because the wife and I are pretty active in the congregation and some posters are getting pretty close to my to my idenity by mentioning names of individuals I know personally.

School for Congregation Elders
by C.O.B.E.Beef ini attended the school late last year, and it was an emotional and mental rollercoaster for me.
i was already divided in my heart to say the least.
one of the instructors stayed in my home for the week, and my family genuinely enjoyed his company.

The wife and I have about 10 family members that are JW's as well as over 12 close friends, 100's of friends in 5 states. You see we pioneered for many years, 40 years between us. We have been to Pioneer Service twice, and was invited for a 3rd time by our CO who really liked us (but I turned it down).
One of the highlights of my life was to go to Patterson for the Elder's KM School that only COBE's got to attend for a week. They gave us keys to the facility and told us to go wherever we wanted. We went to the Service Dept after hours which was a real eye opener. There was multitude cubicles, about 30 of them, like something out of movie. Each cubicle represented a state(s). It was the most unkept area of the whole facility because there were boxes of stuff related to congregation matters in each cubicle stack atleast 5 high! It was crazy. We thoght we better get out before someone noticed us snooping around. On the way out, we noticed a large map of all the U.S. the Circuits highlights. I should have taken a pic, but I was with someone.
On our final day, we got lectured to by Gerrit Losch. He went on a rant about violent sports, in particular one in "where men wear pads from head to toe with helmets, running into each other to cause harm". Then he said, " I know none of you Brothers would be watching it!". Apparently, none of the CO's got this meno, I had just watched a Football game with one. One brother in the van with us going back to the Airport said that he was "never going to watch a football game again!", ( infact someone from his hall said he got the whole Body on board on this issue, that they will counsel anyone talking about Football). The Bethelite driving us to the Airport said "We all got that speech, that's why we refer to him as N.F.L., No Football Losch". Most of us in the van laughed except for the one Elder. The Bethel brother added that Losch was the only one on the GB that felt that way.
One final thought on Patterson, the brother I roomed with was really cool (around 70ish). Him and I drank Red Wine every night while doing our studies. Ahh, the memories!

Since this is a new phaze for me, I still pray several times to Jehovah through Jesus. They are not the ones to blame for all the "False Expectations". I am disappointed that I am this old in this world. I was told by the BORG (someone define for me), that this would not happen.

First of all thanks for all the kind words!!! I am over whelmed by the responses. I work very hard through the week and the only time I can reply is in the early morning hours, I read the respones on my Iphone through out the day, if there was a way to log on with the phone, I would. So if someone could tell me if there was a way, i woild appreciate it.
I read all posts pertaining to JW's. I been following Winston's story and Tech 49's. I also enjoy Blondies comments, Lois lane, Flipper, Smiddy's, Data Dog, Siri82, Atlantis, too many to mention, etc. Many Good People here. I have read Barbara Anderson's story(my first reveal last year), and COC, In Search CF By Ray Franz. I actually know some of the Brothers personally involved with his case. Later on that. Ed Dunlap's interview is fantastic to listen too.
My wife and I are not born in's. We did meet at a DC and the rest is history. She does not know that I am posting on this site yet. She caught me 6 months ago and read some postings for over an hour. Her reply was "I am not prepared for this". So, not in her presence do I read on this forum. But we do talk alot about certain issues with the ORG and the local Brothers. We have both Pioneered for many years, so this is going to be a lloonngg fade.

Whenever there is suspected trouble in a congregation, The CO will call the "Branch" and they will instruct him to appoint a commiittee of 3 "experienced" elders to investigate and make reccomended changes. This is called a "Special Committee". It is rare, but I have been involved twice in one. Years ago (30), they used one man for this job, but it was changed to a committee.
Now unwanted, I mean unneeded Bethelites, are re-assigned to a congregation that has requested them to help in the ministry or help in the Servant Body.
